Pescadero Arts & Fun Festival. Aug. 19-20. This festival promotes local artists and raises funds to benefit local youth programs. It includes live entertainment, a kids’ korral, hand-crafted goods, country cooking and more. Pescadero. FREE.
Sand Sculpture Contest. Aug. 27. Build sand sculptures at Drakes Beach. Judging begins at 12pm. Prizes awarded in different age groups at 3:30pm. Near Inverness. FREE.
