Escuela Bilingüe Internacional is a school for students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. It is authorized by the International Baccalaureate to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and is a candidate school for the Middle Years Programme (MYP).
The educational model of EBI gives children a diverse, well-rounded education which challenges them to develop an increased emphasis on real life situations, decision-making, problem-solving, research and action.
In an inquiry-based classroom at EBI, students are actively:
-Exploring, wondering and questioning
-Experimenting and playing with possibilities
-Researching and seeking information
-Collecting data and reporting findings
-Clarifying existing ideas and reappraising events
-Deepening understanding through the application of a concept or rule
-Making and testing theories
-Making predictions and acting purposefully to see what happens
-Elaborating on solutions to problems
