The 2018 Alameda County Fair returns to the Alameda County Fairgrounds June 15-July 8, offering exciting new rides and attractions, star-studded concerts, extreme actions sports, craft beer, cocktail & wine tasting festivals, discount days, and much more.
The Fair will kick off the festivities on Friday, June 15 at 10:30am with its Opening Day Cattle Drive, featuring real-life cowboys and cowgirls driving a massive herd of cattle through the streets of Downtown Pleasanton.
In addition to the popular carnival games and rides, there will be some exciting new attractions, including a high-flying gondola SkyRide and an adrenaline packed ride for thrill seekers called TURBO. The fair will also feature the traditional favorites like exhibits, animals, Kids Park, STEAM weekends, horseraces, and of course, some of the world’s greatest Fair food.
SNACKDOWN FRYday returns on June 22 where the Fair’s top food vendors roll out their newest and wildest creations in a battle for the championship belt. Plus, snack seekers can enjoy bite sized versions of select fair treats for just $2 every Thursday from 11am-5pm.
The 2018 Big O Tires Concert Series lineup is back and better than ever offering show-stopping performances from Blue Oyster Cult, Shaggy, En Vogue, LeAnn Rimes, 38 Special, Smash Mouth, Sir Mix-a-Lot, WAR and much more. All seats are reserved and tickets are available now through the Fair’s website.
