Bricks By The Bay Convention

Jul 12, 2018 to Jul 15, 2018
07:30 AM until 12:00 AM

Join us this summer for the 60th anniversary of the LEGO Brick at the Bricks By The Bay (BBTB) Convention!

Bricks By The Bay (BBTB) is just one of a growing number of conventions and gatherings throughout the world where fans of LEGO®gather to share our enthusiasm for our favorite plastic brick. Builders, artists, and hobbyists attend and share creations, give and attend presentations, play games, and most of all, have fun with other LEGO® fans. The weekend includes a two day public exposition as we invite the public to visit the 33,000+ square foot ballroom to view our MOCs (My Own Creation) on display and purchase LEGO® and related goodies from our vendors.

Our theme this year is ANIMATION! Whether it’s a brick-built Bugs Bunny, The Simpsons, Sponge Bob or a MOC that moves, now is your opportunity to let your imagination soar.

All ages are welcome to register. Children younger than 18 must attend the convention along with a registered adult.

This year we are very excited to have Dave Pickett as our Keynote Speaker.  Dave is a life-long LEGO fan and pop culture enthusiast and the co-author of The LEGO Animation Book which teaches you how to make your own movies using LEGO bricks. You might already know Dave from his YouTube Channel, Brick 101   Workshops, Games and Contests: Once you have registered to attend, you can then register for Games, Workshops, your MOC and purchase our t-shirt, pin, minifig and event kit once these are available. Each workshop has its own registration price and may include a materials fee to cover the cost of the LEGO parts that you use and keep! For more information and registration visit: Bricks By The Bay, Inc., is a charitable non-profit organization. All work is done entirely by volunteers!
