Description

Reception: with live birds from the Junior Museum & Zoo – Jan. 27th, 1-4pmThe extraordinary story of birds—their beauty, their biology, their migrations, and their ecosystems. This is a multimedia art installation inspired by the spectacular natural instinct of birds to travel thousands of miles up and down the Western edge of North America.

The exhibit features whimsical artistic installations that celebrate birds in flight and explore the relationship between man and birds, paired with stunning photographs from local birders. It also delves into the loss of habitat which has threatened this display of natural instinct, with special focus on our own South Bay wetlands.
