Pregnancy is full of wide-ranging emotional and physical sensation- joy, stress, excitement, anxiety, aches….Carolina’s Tuesday morning class helps mothers to feel relaxed, strong, and content during this erratic time. The gentle vinyasa practice begins very slow and calmly, warming up the body. Intensity rises 15-20 minutes into the class building to a peak pose and slowing down from there, leaving enough time for the body to relax. Carolina’s soothing voice helps mothers keep their focus inward, feeling supported and understood with a decrease in pain, discomforts, and worries. Every class includes meditation, strength-building poses, stretching, energy work, and guided meditation set to instrumental guitar and flute music. Options are given to accommodate beginners and intermediate students.
