Dίa de los Muertos – This event features religious services, presentation of the altars, mariachi, folkloric dancing, Aztec drums, complimentary lunch and sugar skull decorating for children. Día de los Muertos – Gather in downtown Berkeley for a celebration of those who have moved on with ceramic or sugar skull painting, free skeletal face painting, Mariachi and violin music, food and shopping. Wear traditional costumes and bring photos or stories of loved ones with beads, candles and flowers to add to the community offering. Nov. 2. 5-10pm. FREE.
