Fairy Winterland – The beloved children’s theme park, with more than 60 storybook sets, gentle rides and vibrant gardens, celebrates Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Las Posadas, Diwali and Chinese New Year with special holiday storytelling, magic and entertainment. Graham Lustig's The Nutcracker – Oakland Ballet presents its annual tradition of festive scenery, costumes and ballet set to Tchaikovsky’s much-loved score performed by the Oakland Symphony. Livermore-Amador Symphony Annual Family Concert – In its fifth year, this family-oriented concert held before Livermore’s annual holiday parade will feature “The Carnival of the Animals” narrated by actor Michael Wayne Rice and a selection of holiday tunes. Six Flags Holiday in the Park – Visit with Santa, take a stroll under thousands of twinkling lights, and check out the Merry Marketplace or one of the festive shows, such as Six Flags Dazzle, a synchronized light show.
