Winter Ice Rink in Downtown Sunnyvale - The city’s first-ever holiday-themed ice rink is positioned under the redwood trees and will host special events throughout the holiday season. Holiday Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center – Celebrate the holiday spirit in San Francisco with the Bay Area's largest outdoor ice rink, a beautiful city setting and an array of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Safeway Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square – Union Square, San Francisco's main shopping district, gets into the ice skating spirit during the holiday season with an outdoor ice rink sponsored by Safeway. Winter Park Ice Rink at Civic Center – This ice rink, which debuted last year, returns for a second season. It’s modeled after the internationally famed Wiener project – a rink located in the City Hall Square of Vienna, Austria.
