San Francisco Shakespeare Festival's two-week camps across the Bay Area give kids the chance to explore Shakespeare through the lens of performance and play.

In Shakespeare Players Camp (ages 7-13) and Upstart Crows Camp (ages 12-18), young people find their voices and become confident self-starters while mastering Shakespeare’s language and interpreting his plays.

Our professional theatre company offers a well-rounded camp experience in which students explore acting and movement techniques, design costumes and props, and learn about Theater history while preparing a final Shakespeare performance.

There’s something here for everyone: all experience levels and academic interests are welcome! However, if you had previous experience and would like to challenge yourself, take a look at our Advanced Shakespeare Workshop, which is a 4 weeks Shakespeare intensive program,

Convenient camp locations throughout San Francisco as well as Alameda, Berkeley, Brisbane, Burlingame, Cupertino, Fremont, Los Altos Hills, Oakland, Pleasanton, and San Mateo.

In addition, to summer camps, we have Upstart Crows Saturdays during school year that meets every Saturday!
