We are a Montessori school for children ages 2 through 6th grade. Since 1973, we have provided a warm, welcoming community in which children and adults find friendships and support.
Active engagement with hands-on tasks supports the growth of problem-solving strategies, innovation, collaboration, reflection and a positive disposition towards "figuring things out"--qualities needed throughout life.
Our mixed-age classes enable children to learn from one another, gain autonomy and develop self-confidence. We have 3 classrooms: the Children's House for ages 2-K, the Junior Elementary (grades 1-3), and the Advanced Elementary (grades 4-6). In each of our classes, we assign equal value to the emotional, social, and intellectual development of the child.
We use individualized instruction to foster the unique potential of each child. We offer a place where everyone is encouraged to ask questions and broaden their understanding of themselves, others, and the world.
School events throughout the year--Parent Breakfasts, All-School International Potluck Picnic, Harvest Fair, Science Fair, Grandparents Day, School Play--bring families together to connect and support each other. Please call to schedule a tour to discover the Concordia School.
There is no additional charge for extended care for full-time students.
Our Elementary program includes Spanish, art, music, science and P.E.
Limited number of part-time spots available for 2- and 3-year-olds.
