Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
MARCH 14 and 15. Enjoy three stages of Irish music and dance, authentic Irish food and beverages, more than 250 fine arts and commercial vendors including an Irish Marketplace, roaming leprechauns and bagpipers, carnival rides and an Irish Tea Cottage ($7). The annual parade begins at 9:30am on Sat. at Dublin Boulevard and Amador Plaza Road. There are also a pancake breakfast, Shamrock Gala and Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk for an additional fee. FREE.

St. Patrick’s Celebration
MARCH15. The luck o’ the Irish meets the Hiller Aviation Museum for a special aerial celebration in honor of St. Patrick himself. There will be face painting, paint a plane green, a leprechaun hunt and more. Children wearing green receive a special toy. 10am-12pm. Included with admission of $23 adult, $15 ages 4-17, 3 and under FREE.

MARCH 14. Dress in your favorite green gear and kick off the holiday by joining a 1-mile Family Fun Run, 5K or 10K. 7:30am. $38.10 and up.

San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade
MARCH 14. It’s the parade’s 175th anniversary. See colorful floats, marching bands, Irish dancers and more in the city’s longest running celebration of Irish heritage, culture and community. The parade ends at Civic Center with a family-friendly celebration including food, music, entertainment, sports and more. 11am-5pm. FREE.

San Jose Shamrock Run
MARCH 14. Join over 2,000 runners and walkers in the Leprechaun Chase Kids Run, 5K or 10K in San Jose’s largest St. Patrick’s Day party. Enjoy the post-race party at San Pedro Square. Kids run: ages 12 and under. 9am. $23 and up.
