The Face of Dance for Everyone

Rhythm and music connect people fundamentally. That is the spirit behind West Valley Dance Company, now celebrating 50 years of dance instruction. No matter how you want to show up, there’s a place for you on the dance floor. “As educators first, we know children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and valued,” says owner and director Cathy Jelic. “We celebrate effort as much as achievement, build confidence through positive coaching and create an environment where students form lasting friendships and learn life skills like perseverance, teamwork and responsibility. We want every dancer to leave class feeling stronger than when they walked in, both as a dancer and as a person.”
