The Face of Family-Owned Early Education

For nearly 60 years, Action Day Schools has been helping Bay Area children develop a love of learning and preparing them for success in school and in life. Action Day Schools’ family-owned structure means “we’re big enough to deliver, but small enough to care,” explains president and partner Cathy Jelic. “The early years are about so much more than academics. At Action Day, we intentionally nurture confidence, curiosity, independence, creativity and resilience. We want children to become problem solvers who are excited to learn and comfortable trying new things. These qualities stay with them long after they leave our classrooms and become the foundation for lifelong success.”
